Brief Description:

Local company hiring for Machine Operator positions. This role operates a machine which makes cushion for seats used on agricultural equipment. Position requires operators to ensure parameters are met for the material and for the finished products.

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts available

  • 1st: Monday – Friday / 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • 2nd: Monday – Friday / 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay rate: $10.25

Function

  • Prepare for operations by gathering and wearing all necessary PPE
  • Select product from box and place on table
  • Dampen the mold with a damp rag and wipe a thin layer over the whole bowl to release
  • Wipe the whole lid with the damp rag, cleaning any vent holes if needed
  • Dry the bowl using an air nozzle and then dry the lid
  • Check pressure of the foam head to ensure it is at the proper PSI; adjust as necessary using wrench.
  • Wipe the nose of the foam head with a rag; position of the mold
  • Use the control panel to select the right button to spray lightly back and forth in designated areas
  • Position the foam head to the side, hold two black buttons on the sides of the box to close the mold
  • Start timer on box by choosing correct button on control panel
  • When timer changes from red to green, pull foam balls by hand and stick three (3) holes in the punch and release the spray mold
  • Using the control box, select CONT to open the mold; and turn knob back to the middle once mold is open
  • Work the bun out of the mold by pressing around edges to release it from the mold
  • Position hands under the back left corner and slowly start to left the cushion from the mold, working from left to right
  • After cushion is removed, place on the table and move to mold 2.
  • Wipe a thin layer of mold release over the whole bowl with a damp rag
  • Wipe the whole lid with the damp rag; cleaning vent holes if needed
  • Dry the bowl with the air nozzle and then dry the lid
  • Wipe the nose of the foam head with a rag
  • Move foam head over the mold into the correct position
  • Pres POUR on the foam head; holding directly over the correct area, moving back and forth
  • Position foam head, hold two black palm buttons on the side of the box to close the mold and press red button
  • Return to the table to trim flashing off the edges of the cushion with scissors; clip foam vents off cushion
  • Place cushion on curing rack

Requirement Note

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a machine operator
  • Team player committed to working in a zero-harm workplace
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
