Engineered Fluid Packaging Technician for a Chemical Plant in North Augusta, South Carolina. This position is responsible for the packaging of OGW products after production. Must be able to work 30-40 hours a week at $13.00 an hour. Must pass drug screen, have a clean background and a HS Diploma or GED. Experience in a chemical plant setting is preferred.
Must be able to use all available or assigned personal protective equipment and tools.
Must be capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders.
Must be capable of walking and/or standing on concrete floors for up to 8 hours/day.
Must operate mechanical equipment at heights of ~ 5".
Must be able to use equipment within its design limits (weight limit on a ladder, for example).
Must be capable of working in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
Must be able to work in an environment where chemical odors may exist at permissible threshold limits of exposure.
Must be able to evacuate the plant, reporting to appropriate assigned muster point, in the event of an emergency or drill.
Must have good verbal and written communication abilities and good analytical abilities.
Intermediate user of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Adhere to plant safety requirements and promote a positive safety culture; leading by example.
Perform all packaging activities of oils, greases and waxes to meet customer requirements in quality/quantity with proper packaging/labeling on containers up to ~ 5 gallons.
Maintain packaging supplies (bottles, jars, boxes, labels) and finished product inventories.
Complete documents accurately and maintain precise records.
Operate manual pallet jack to move single, loaded pallets.
Capable of minor troubleshooting of packaging equipment and performing minor mechanical adjustments.
Report accidents and incidents to supervision or Safety.
Maintain a safe and clean work area and follow all company policies.
High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent
Familiarity with product packaging operations and warehouse inventory control preferred
