Brief Description:

Local hospital system is looking for someone to receive information from hospital staff and visitors concerning repairs and unsafe conditions needing repair. To liaison between customers and facilities & follow up on repairs and services. To notify and report any dangerous or unsafe issues to the safety department and support security when needed.


Thursday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm 

Saturday-Sunday 5:00am-1:30pm

Pay rate:

$10.50 - $11.00 (based on experience)


  • Receive calls from customers and facilities staff then relay information by page, phone, or overhead intercom
  • Announce fire drills and activations, all information and emergency codes via intercom
  • Report elevator issues and/or entrapments to contractor and facilities
  • Enter all work orders into system and forward information to mechanics
  • Follow up with customer(s) to ensure satisfaction of work services completed
  • Answer calls as needed
  • Check emergency phones in elevators
  • Conduct fire-watch in construction areas inside the hospital when life and safety protocol is initiated
  • Record and report finding to the safety department
  • Monitor all emergency notifiers for the fire system
  • Monitor all medical gas alarms
  • Monitor hospital infant alarms
  • Monitor phuematic tubing system alarms
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirement Note

  • Basic math skills
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in customer service
  • Proficient with computers
  • Must have a professional and polite telephone presence
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
