Advanced Security Officer
Sizemore, Inc. has profiled the position of an Advanced Security Officer and determined the level of workplace skills that it takes to successfully perform this position. Sizemore is offering ASO Certification training to all Sizemore Security Officers.
- New Hires: In the hiring process, Certified Workforce Ready™ allows us to determine the probability of a candidate's success rate as it relates to an Advanced Security Officer. Should the candidate be chosen for a job offer, skill gaps that have been identified are incorporated into the training program probation period. At the completion of the probation period, the Certified Workforce Ready™ workforce training portion will have been complete and the Advanced Security Officer will receive the certification.
- Incumbent Workforce: All incumbent workers can participate in the Certified Workforce Ready™ program and receive the Advanced Security Officer certification. All incumbents that measure below the certified assessments can begin a program of targeted specific training designed for his or her individual needs.
Facility Security Officer
Protecting our borders and ports against acts of terrorism is of critical importance to the security of the United States. Security Officers who work under the auspices of the Maritime Transportation Security Act and 33 CFR 105 have special training needs above and beyond that of a typical Security Officer.
- Sizemore has recognized the need for such special training and offers to our clients a Security Supervisor who is Facility Security Officer (FSO) trained and Officers who have completed our Maritime Security Officer Training Program.
- Sizemore Supervisors who are selected for FSO training attend a training course given by maritime security experts who are retired Captains of the Port (COPT).Security Officers complete Sizemore’ 13-part Maritime Security Awareness Training Program, in addition to all other required training.
- Sizemore Security Services has never been cited for any violations of the Maritime Transportation Security Act.
